Loomo

Robotics & Embedded Systems Objectives

  • 1. Designed Indication lights for a cart we added to Loomo.

  • 2. Used a jet nano to connect to the Loomo expansion bay to receive commands for the lights to do specific tasks.

  • 4. Autonomous functionality with hardware indication lights.

  • 6. Helped Brandon with autonomous board room navigation.

Description:

Loomo was an internship we did with Perimeter83. The team consisted of three people. The goal was to make an office assistant. The assistant was to be made by using the robot they already had (Loomo). We had to develop an app for all the autonomous function codes to be running off this included voice command, user input from the screen, boardroom navigation, and a follow-me function. We also needed to add a cart. So we designed a custom hitch that allows for wires to pass through the middle for indication lights we added to the back of the cart.
